Course Description
In this 2-hour workshop you will be playing a wide variety of improv games involving:
Physical improvisation
Quick and on-the-spot thinking
Out-witing an opponent
Working in teams
All the games will be extremely simple and beginner friendly. No prior experience is needed, just the desire to come along and have fun with your fellow improvisers.
Michael will lead the games as well as offering useful tips and advice on how to succeed at the game and subsequently develop your improvisation skills.
Michael Bejani is a theatre coach with more than 25 years of experience in acting and performance. Growing up in an international household, he has performed in and directed plays aroundthe world, from South East Asia to Europe to North America.
Although Michael studied sociology and macro problem solving at university, he has an extremely eclectic theatre background and has experience with all age groups/theatre styles in a variety of languages.
He was part of the Montreal Improv House Team and has worked with Frantic Assembly, The Montreal Comedy Cellar, The KL Performing Arts Centre, The Actor’s Studio of Malaysian Theatre, and many more.
After his many years of travelling, Michael recently settled in Toulouse and joins the TMA31 team. His primary focus now is improvisational theatre.
His classes focus on ensuring actors have a deep and well-developed foundation of comedy/improv while having as much fun as possible.
