Course Description
Formed in 2020, this vibrant and energetic adult Pop/Rock choir has grown into an international community of singers from different cultures and languages. With an emphasis on fun and community, the choir kicked off its first performance with 50 members in April 2020. The rehearsal language is English but we also welcome and support members who do not speak the language fluently.
We perform regularly at a wide variety of venues including on the large stage at the Théâtre Musical de Pibrac.
Works so far have included artists such as; Coldplay, Lady Gaga, Snow Patrol, Tao Cruz, Pink, Justin Timberlake, Jamiroquai and Muse. In 2024/25 we have some exciting performances planned for the year and with repertoire including Queen, Bruno Mars, Linkin Park and Daft Punk - join us for a great season!

Vocal 31 is an rock/pop choir formed in 2020 which performs regularly and boast a large group of international members.
MUSICAL DIRECTOR
Eve Hirsch is an experienced international concert and stage vocal artist. After graduating with a Bachelor of Music (University of Auckland) she went on to complete a Graduate Diploma of Vocal Performance (Queensland Conservatorium) and was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 1999. She has performed solo with many orchestras, including to an audience of 6000, with the New Zealand Symphony. On the theatrical stage, she has appeared in professional productions of both musical and operatic works, ranging from South Pacific to Madam Butterfly.
Eve has enjoyed an international teaching career and is an experienced teacher. Since moving to Toulouse she has been running her own private music studio Butterfly Vocal as well has being employed by the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Toulouse, the International School of Toulouse and the Mairie de Pibrac. She is active as a musical director, stage director and choral conductor. She is currently furthering her studies towards a MA in Professional Practice Voice Pedagogy. Members describe Eve as positive with a good sense of humour and she makes the sessions an enjoyable experience for all involved.
