About this Activity Group
Formed in 2020 this group offers workshops in musical theatre for 7 to 11 years which culminate in performances of a children's musical. Workshops involve acting, singing, dance, crafts and puppetry and lots of fun theatre games.
The first project which started in September 2020 and was be performed in the garden was Otto's Journey Around the World. Following on from this very successful workshop were two productions in 2021/22; Anansi and the Moss-covered Rock and Vacation on Mars. In 2022/23 we took to the large stage of TMP for a production of Roald Dahl's The Three Little Pigs. In 23/24 we performed another Roald Dahl musical, this time Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. This year we will be preparing The Pied Piper.
