Course Description

This year long musical theatre project for children between 7 -11 culminates in a performance of the glittering galloping musical of Roald Dahl's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" by By Helen MacGregor and Stephen Chadwick

"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is a highly entertaining production which children and audiences love in which Snow White cleverly schemes to scoop up the Magic Mirror in a dash for freedom and fortune, aided by the turncoat huntsman and abetted by seven ex-jockeys, leaving the meanest queen, as ever – heartless.

As with every one of these great Roald Dahl musicals, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is based on an orchestral commission by the Roald Dahl Foundation. The concert work, from which the schools' musical is derived is by Eleanor Alberga.
